Colin Kaepernick got an apology from Clay Matthews. Again, apparently.

Remember a year ago when Matthews hit Kaepernick late out of bounds in the season opener? During the offseason, they joined nine other NFL stars to take part in NBC's Sunday Night Football opening stanza with Carrie Underwood.

In a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the intro, Matthews accidentally walks into Kaepernick's dressing room while he's putting on his shoes.

"Sorry Kap," says Matthews, who then looks into a camera and adds, "Wouldn't be the first time I've had to apologize to him, you know."

Also in the SNF intro are Jimmy Graham (Saints), Luke Kuechly (Panthers), Eli Manning (Giants), Brandon Marshall (Bears), LeSean McCoy (Eagles), Philip Rivers (Chargers), DeMarcus Ware (Broncos) and Russell Wilson (Seahawks).
