MONDAY, Oct. 1
THEFT -- A fast pass and cash were stolen from a car on Ramona Avenue over the weekend. MULTIPLE BREAK-INS -- During the night thieves stole GPS systems from two cars on Carmel Avenue and a car on Talbot Avenue. Several other cars parked on Talbot Avenue were also burgled. AUTO BREAK-IN -- Someone prowled the inside of a car parked on Neilson Street during the night. TRESPASSING -- At 7 a.m. officers received complaints from the Albany Theater that a man was sleeping in the parking lot behind the theater and using the back of a restaurant for a bathroom. Officers arrested the Richmond man for suspicion of littering. THEFT -- Officers received a call from Max's Liquors on San Pablo Avenue reporting that a man had stolen lottery tickets then went down the street to a burrito shop next to Monteros Restaurant. The man then came back to Max's. Officers arrested the Albany man for suspicion of petty theft.TUESDAY, Oct. 2
THEFT -- At 11 a.m. a woman reported that someone stole her late husband's bike while it was parked at the Albany Bulb. DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- Officers responded to the 4 Corners Café on San Pablo and Solano avenues at 7 p.m. when someone reported that a person was lying down by a brick wall and possibly unconscious. Officers found that the transient man was unable to care for himself and arrested him for suspicion of disorderly conduct. THEFT -- A small gold bag with ID, bank cards and cash inside was stolen at 1:30 p.m. from Mr. C's for Hair on Solano Avenue. WEDNESDAY, Oct. 3
DISTURBANCE -- At 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the area near Solano and Ramona avenues when someone called to report a man who was naked and screaming outside of the CVS store. They arrested the Oakland man for an outstanding warrant. THURSDAY, Oct. 4
THEFT -- Security at Golden Gate Fields on Eastshore called at 4 p.m. to report that a car parked near the clubhouse entrance had been burgled. The thieves smashed a window and stole a laptop and an iPad from inside. CAR STOLEN -- An El Cerrito man reported that his 1996 Nissan Altima was stolen from Kains Avenue. FRIDAY, Oct. 5
DUI -- At 2:30 a.m. officers arrested a Pinole man in the 400 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of two counts of DUI. THEFT -- Someone stole a silver Raleigh hybrid bike, valued at $750, from the bike rack at Albany High School during the day. Officers are looking at surveillance video. HOME BREAK-IN -- During the day a home on Solano Avenue was burgled via entry through a back window and property was taken.SATURDAY, Oct. 6
DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers arrested a Berkeley man near Marin and Stannage avenues for suspicion of two counts of DUI. DISTURBANCE -- Officers arrested a Berkeley man in the 1100 block of Ordway Avenue at 8 a.m. for suspicion of disorderly conduct and a probation violation.SUNDAY, Oct. 7
DUI -- At 1 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near San Pablo and Eureka avenues for a vehicle code violation. They arrested the driver, a Berkeley woman, for suspicion of two counts of DUI. DISTURBANCE -- At 1:30 a.m. officers investigated a person on Buchanan Street near San Pablo Avenue who appeared to be unable to care for himself. They arrested him for suspicion of disorderly conduct. DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle on the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue at 2 a.m. for a vehicle code violation. They arrested the driver, an Emeryville man, for suspicion of DUI. DUI -- At 7 p.m. officers arrested an Andersen man near the Buchanan Street extension for suspicion of two counts of DUI.-- Kristina Osborn
