Ten-year-old Zulu has one desire out of life: to be loved and give love in return. She is sweet, affectionate and grateful for every pet and cuddle she receives and is quick to reward your attentions with her soothing purr. She was returned to us when her owner of 10 years got too sick to care for her. She's remarkably resilient and waiting patiently for her new home.
Zulu is working on regaining her girlish figure and her adopters should be committed to helping her reach her weight loss goals. She is also pre-diabetic and needs to be fed a prescription diet.
A note from her foster mom: "Zulu was obviously loved by her previous guardian and is very social and outgoing. She is a wonderful companion, always wanting to be by my side and she is not shy about asking for attention. She is fine staying by herself during the day and will be so happy to see you when you get home. Of course, if you're home all day that would suit her just fine. "
