MONDAY, Dec. 10

  • THEFT -- At 11 a.m. an employee at Safeway on the 1500 block of Solano Avenue reported that a man had just stolen baby formula and was last seen walking south toward Marin Avenue. Officers located the San Francisco man near Curtis and Marin avenues at 11:30 a.m. and arrested him for suspicion of robbery and a probation violation.

  • DISTURBANCE -- Just before midnight officers received a call about a customer at Club Mallard on the 700 block of San Pablo Avenue who had a knife and was acting aggressively toward the doorman. Officers arrested the Albany man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    TUESDAY, Dec. 11

  • DRUGS -- At 4 a.m. officers contacted a person on the railroad tracks near the 500 block of Cleveland Avenue for suspicious activity. They arrested the El Cerrito man for suspicion of drug possession.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Vandals broke into a car overnight at Albany Middle School on Brighton Avenue and broke the steering wheel.

  • TURKEYS -- A flock of wild turkeys were causing a traffic hazard while wandering in the middle of Masonic Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Officers received a call from the AM/PM market on San Pablo Avenue at 8:30 p.m. about a woman who reportedly stole food and was still outside the store. Officers arrested the Oakland woman for suspicion of interfering with a business.

    THURSDAY, Dec. 13

  • MORE TURKEYS -- Several wild turkeys were seen on Solano Avenue near Key Route Boulevard at 7:30 a.m. Maybe they were waiting for the shops to open.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A Santa Fe Avenue residence was burgled during the day.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Coins were stolen overnight from an unlocked Subaru in a driveway on Santa Fe Avenue.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A Spokane Avenue home was burgled during the day.

    FRIDAY, Dec. 14

  • DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near Polk and Buchanan streets for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Corte Madera man, for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • BIKE STOLEN -- A $700 green racing bike was stolen at Albany Middle School between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- During the afternoon someone broke into a residence on Portland Avenue through a rear window and stole computers and an iPad.

    SATURDAY, Dec. 15

  • BURGLAR SPOTTED -- Just after midnight a Curtis Street resident reported that a man dressed all in black, with a black hat, about five feet tall was in the back yard and trying to enter the home. The subject was gone when officers arrived.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 1 a.m. the manager at Club Mallard called to report that a customer was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Officers contacted the man and he was allowed to depart after a warning about his behavior.

  • BIKE STOLEN -- A Brighton Avenue resident reported that the previous day someone had stolen a bike from the garage.

  • FIGHT -- At 6 p.m. officers responded to Curtis Street on reports of a physical altercation between a father and son. Officers separated the two men and the matter was resolved.

  • NOISY DISTURBANCE -- Officers received a call at 8 p.m. about a noisy party on Marin Avenue with dogs barking and people drinking. All was quiet when officers investigated.

    SUNDAY, Dec. 16

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- At 12:30 a.m. officers contacted a person on San Pablo Avenue near Clay Street who appeared to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. They arrested the Richmond man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

  • TRESPASSING -- Officers responded to Evelyn Avenue at 3:30 a.m. on complaints about a person sitting on the stairs of a building and having an argument on the cell phone for over 20 minutes. Officers advised the person of the complaint and he was allowed to depart.

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals hacked apart a tree on Cerrito Street.

  • AUTO RECOVERED -- Officers investigated a vehicle parked on Buchanan Street for about 10 days and a check found it reported stolen in Berkeley. The owner was notified.
