MONDAY, Dec. 24

  • STORM DAMAGE -- About 3:30 a.m. officers received a report that a large branch had broken off a tree on Ordway Street and was blocking part of the road.

  • TRESPASSING -- Shortly before 9 a.m. officers received a report of a man sleeping in front of Vision Hair Salon on Solano Avenue. Officers advised him to move along.

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen overnight on Marin Avenue.

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals cut some of the small trees on Cerrito Street overnight.

  • THEFT -- At 1:30 p.m. a man described as a Hispanic male adult about 5-foot-10 inches tall with a heavy build with a thin mustache, about 21 years old, and wearing a baseball cap had just stolen items from Beverages & More.

  • DISTURBANCE -- Officers received a call from Albany Bowl at 5 p.m. reporting a man in a wheelchair in the bathroom who was swearing and refusing to leave. They have called about this person in the past. Officers warned the man of his behavior and he was allowed to depart.

  • THEFT -- At 5:30 p.m. officers received a call from security at Target Store on Eastshore reporting that a man and a woman had just grabbed merchandise and fled in a white or silver Toyota Solara.

    TUESDAY, Dec. 25

  • BIRDS -- At noon there were reports of stork-like birds in the street near Solano and Pomona Avenues.
