MONDAY, Jan. 14

  • THEFT -- A bicycle was stolen overnight from a garage on Curtis Street.

  • WARRANT -- Officers arrested a Richmond man in the 900 block of Adams Street at noon for an outstanding warrant.

  • SUSPICION -- A Spokane Street resident reported that a package he received from Amazon was damaged and he was concerned that someone may have tried to open it after it was left on his porch.

    TUESDAY, Jan. 15

  • DUI -- At 1:30 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on the Buchanan Street interchange for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • ATTEMPTED THEFT -- Officers responded to the Target Store on Eastshore at 11:30 a.m. when security reported having a person in custody for trying to push a bicycle out of the store. Officers arrested the Berkeley man for suspicion of petty theft and for repeated offenses.

  • STOLEN ITEMS FOUND -- At 4:30 p.m. a man called to report that the manager of Sizzler on San Pablo Avenue called him to tell him that he had some of his belongings, along with another person's belongings, at the restaurant. The man reported that his car, along with another car, had been burgled in El Cerrito.

  • VANDALISM -- Shortly before midnight an employee at the Hotsy Totsy Club on San Pablo Avenue called to report that a customer had just punched a hole and carved his initials in the bathroom wall. Officers contacted the suspect regarding the damage.

    WEDNESDAY, Jan. 16

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A window was smashed and a camera bag stolen overnight from a car on San Pablo Avenue.

  • ROBBERY -- At 10 p.m. a clerk at a business on Solano Avenue reported being robbed at gunpoint.

    THURSDAY, Jan. 17

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen overnight on Kains Avenue.

    FRIDAY, Jan. 18

  • INTOXICATED -- At 2 a.m. officers observed a man walking near Adams and Castro Street who appeared to be intoxicated and was seen jumping on a parked car. The Richmond man was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals toppled a motorcycle overnight on Key Route Boulevard.

  • PROWLING -- An unlocked car on Stannage Avenue was prowled overnight, but nothing appeared to be missing.

  • MAIL THEFT -- At 4 p.m. a caller reported observing a man taking mail out of boxes on Hillside Street, then running down the stairs to Jackson Street.

    SATURDAY, Jan. 19

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle on San Pablo Avenue near Camelia Street in Berkeley at 1 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested an Albany woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the El Cerrito Plaza parking lot near Barnes & Noble for a code violation and arrested the driver, a Penngrove man, for suspicion of DUI.

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- At 4:30 p.m. officers arrested a Berkeley woman in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of two counts of identity theft.

  • DOUBLE ARREST -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of Buchanan Street at 10 p.m. for a code violation and arrested a San Pablo man for suspicion of two counts of DUI. They also arrested the passenger, a Richmond man, for disorderly conduct.

    SUNDAY, Jan. 20

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- Officers arrested an El Cerrito man in front of the Club Mallard in the 700 block of San Pablo Avenue at 1 a.m. for suspicion of being intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

  • DUI -- At 1:30 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of San Pablo Avenue for a vehicle code violation and arrested a San Francisco man for suspicion of DUI.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle on Buchanan Street near Interstate 80 at 11:30 p.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested a San Francisco woman for suspicion of DUI.
