  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen overnight from a garage area on Evelyn Avenue.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A GPS system was stolen overnight from a car on Ordway Street.

  • THEFT -- A tomato plant was taken from in front of a San Pablo Avenue home overnight.

    TUESDAY, Jan. 22

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen on Stannage Avenue.

  • AUTO MYSTERY -- A Key Route Boulevard resident reported her car was stolen from in front of her residence overnight. She later reported finding her car parked around the corner with the engine running and no keys in the ignition.

  • DISPUTE -- At 4 p.m. officers intervened in an argument between neighbors on Carmel Avenue over garbage cans.

  • ATTEMPTED THEFT -- At 9 p.m. a caller reported interrupting a man who appeared to be breaking into a car on Talbot Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, Jan. 23

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- At 3:30 p.m. a window was smashed and property stolen from a car on Buchanan Street.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- During the day thieves entered a home on Madison Street via the front door and stole items.

    THURSDAY, Jan. 24

  • DUI -- At about 1:30 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near Carlson Boulevard and Fairmount Avenue for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Richmond woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • THEFT -- A GPS system was reported stolen from a car on Pomona Avenue.

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen from a Key Route Boulevard residence overnight.

  • THEFT -- Items were stolen from an unlocked car on Pomona Avenue overnight.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A Pomona Avenue resident reported her car had been prowled. Nothing was taken, but unfamiliar items were left behind.

  • THEFT -- A car was burgled on Washington Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Property was taken from a car on Pomona Avenue and items not belonging to the owner were left behind.

    FRIDAY, Jan. 25

  • DRUGS -- At 1 a.m. officers who contacted a transient man out of Oakland causing a disturbance at the AM/PM market on San Pablo Avenue arrested him for suspicion of drug possession.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle on San Pablo Avenue near Monroe Street at 1:30 a.m. for a code violation and arrested a San Francisco man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

    SATURDAY, Jan. 26

  • DRUGS -- At 1 a.m. officers contacted a transient man acting suspiciously at the Kaddy Carwash and arrested him for suspicion of drug possession and a probation violation.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Golden Gate Fields security reported at 4:30 p.m. that thieves had burgled a car in the north parking lot after smashing a window. Security unsuccessfully pursued a Corvette they believed was involved.

    SUNDAY, Jan. 27

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 1 a.m. officers checked on an Albany man near Washington Avenue and Madison Street who appeared to be intoxicated and arrested him for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Belongings were stolen overnight from a car on Spokane Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Bikes were stolen on Portland and Evelyn avenues.

  • HOME BURGLARY -- Police are investigating the theft of computers and other belongings taken from a Marin Avenue residence some time between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

  • DUI -- At 11:30 p.m. officers arrested a Berkeley man near Curtis and Rose streets for suspicion of two counts of DUI.
