Berkeley East Bay Humane Society

Fontella Bass, named after the beautiful soul singer, definitely lives up to her name. This sweet 4-year-old lady has a lot of soul and gives a lot of love to everyone she meets.

A note from her foster family:

Miss Fontella is waiting for someone to "rescue her." She may have the coat and outward demeanor of a fancy cat, but on the inside this kitty is a down-to-earth, bathrobe and comfy slippers kind of girl. She is a total couch potato, and loves to snooze on your lap with her head tucked under her tail or forepaws. She's also a big fan of head scratches, and she seems to actually love being held and cuddled. Fontella frequently seeks out your attention and affections, but sometimes it can all get to be a bit much for a girl, in which case she's quite happy to spend some quality time by herself.

Fontella Bass has tested positive for FIV. Please ask a staff member for more information.
