MONDAY, March 25

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 1:30 p.m. a resident on Portland Avenue reported a home burglary between 4 and 5 p.m. the previous day.

  • WEAPONS -- Officers arrested a Richmond man at 1:30 p.m. man near Solano Avenue and Jackson Street for suspicion of weapons possession charges.

  • ROBBERY -- At 6:30 p.m. a caller reported being robbed on Solano Avenue near Ramona Avenue. There were no weapons seen and the woman robber fled south on Ramona Avenue in a car waiting car with a passenger.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Between 6 and 8 p.m. a car was burgled in the parking lot at Albany Bowl on the 500 block of San Pablo Avenue and stole items from inside.

    TUESDAY, March 26

  • VAN TOWED -- At 2 p.m. a caller reported that a full-sized brown van had been parked on Masonic Avenue for a few days and it appeared that two people and two large dogs were living inside. Officers investigated and towed the van.

  • WARRANT -- Officers arrested a Scottsdale, Ariz. man in the 800 block of Evelyn Avenue for an outstanding warrant.

    WEDNESDAY, March 27

  • CAR STOLEN -- A car was stolen near Supercuts on Solano Avenue between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- During the day thieves ransacked and stole items from a Brighton Avenue home.

  • NOISY GROUP -- Shortly before midnight officers warned a group of men drinking and causing a disturbance on Madison Street.

    THURSDAY, March 28

  • DUI -- At 12:30 a.m. officers who stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Jackson Street for a vehicle code violation arrested a Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue at 1 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested an Oakland man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • WARRANT -- At 8:30 a.m. officers contacted a Berkeley man in the 1000 block of San Pablo Avenue and arrested him for an outstanding warrant.

  • THEFT -- Planters were stolen overnight from an Ordway Street home.

  • WARRANT -- At 11:30 a.m. officers contacted a Hercules man walking around and acting suspiciously in the 500 block of San Pablo Avenue and arrested him for an outstanding warrant.

  • THEFT -- An employee of Radio Shack on San Pablo Avenue reported at about 2:30 p.m. that a woman had just stolen a phone charger and fled in a gold Mercedes with paper plates.

  • DUI -- Shortly before midnight officers stopped a vehicle near the dead end of Buchanan Street for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Benicia man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

    FRIDAY, March 29

  • VANDALISM -- During the evening hours vandals damaged flowers planted outside the Rendezvous Café on Solano Avenue.

  • THEFT -- At 5:30 p.m. an employee at Max's Liquors on San Pablo Avenue reported that a man who appeared to be a transient had stolen a DVD.

  • VIOLATION -- Officers arrested a Richmond woman at 7 p.m. at the Target Store in the 1000 block of Eastshore for suspicion of having false tags on her vehicle.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 12:30 p.m. officers responded to Grazzy Burgers in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue on reports of a man who appeared to be intoxicated and who collapsed on the sidewalk outside the restaurant. Officers arrested the Albany man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    SATURDAY, March 30

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle near San Pablo Avenue and Carlson Street at 1 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested an El Cerrito man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

    SUNDAY, March 31

  • DUI -- At 1 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near the Buchanan Street interchange for a vehicle code violation and arrested an Oakland woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • AUTO THEFT -- Officers investigating a person acting suspiciously in the 500 block of Pierce Street at 4 a.m. arrested an El Sobrante man for suspicion of auto theft and for prior convictions.

  • VANDALISM -- The window of a car near Curtis and Washington avenues was shattered overnight.
