Norma is 1 year old. She lives to give and receive love and can't wait to have a real place to call home. Norma's favorite activities include face-nuzzling, chit-chatting with you quietly as you go about your business, hopping in your lap (when invited), leaping acrobatically at a wand toy and observing the world go by outside the window. She would probably be fine living in a home with another kitty. To meet Norma, stop by the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society shelter, 2700 Ninth St., adoption hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. If you would like to find out more about Normal email cats@berkeleyhumane.org or call 510-845-3633, ext. 14.

Starbelle Evening Popsy is 1½ years old and weighs 12 pounds. She is looking for a quiet home with a stable and predictable daily routine. She's a little snuggler and is most at ease when in the lap of a human friend. She gets along well with other small dogs and could probably live peacefully in a home with dog-savvy cats with proper introduction. To meet Starbelle Evening Popsy, stop by the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society shelter, 2700 Ninth St., adoption hours from noon-4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
