PITCHER OF THE YEAR

Johanna Grauer, Amador Valley

When healthy, Grauer was absolutely dominant in the circle, going 22-2 with an ERA of 0.09 (two earned runs all season). She struck out 274 batters in 152 innings while posting 19 shutouts and leading the Dons to the East Bay Athletic League title. Before an ankle injury ended her season just before the North Coast Section Division I playoffs, the Arizona-State bound junior had pitched four no-hitters, including a perfect game and eight one-hitters.
