John Travolta is officially off the hook.

Cruise ship employee Fabian Zanzi, who sued Travolta, claiming he exposed himself to him and gave him some sort of improper embrace in 2009, has dropped the case, just days after a Southern California judge ruled the case could proceed to trial, according to TMZ.

Sounds like someone opened his checkbook.

Travolta's lawyers argued his cruise ticket stipulated that any dispute between the passenger and the cruise company be settled in arbitration. The judge quashed that idea Friday, saying the matter wasn't between Travolta and the cruise line; it was between Travolta and Zanzi.

TMZ said the case was officially dismissed Monday but terms -- if any -- weren't disclosed.
