PLEASANTON -- The Alameda County Fair has announced its 2013 concert schedule, a lineup filled with blasts from the past, tribute bands and newer music.

The fair, in its 101st season, will run June 19 to July 7. It has a "Summer Fun Starts Here" theme for this year. The fair will be closed Mondays and will feature $1 admission and $1 rides on opening day.

The evening concert entertainment will include Weird Al Yankovic, Air Supply and Clay Walker.

Here is the entertainment schedule so far:

June 19: Hinder, alternative rock; June 20: Kix Brooks, country; June 21, Marshall Tucker Band, country/rock; June 22, The Spinners, R&B; June 23, Loverboy, rock; June 25, Evolution, Journey tribute band, rock; June 26, Francesca Battistelli, Christian; June 27, Air Supply, rock; June 28, to be announced; June 29, Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds, R&B; June 30, Los Caminantes, Hispanic; July 2, Caravanserai,

Santana tribute band, rock; July 3, Zepparella, Led Zepplin tribute band, rock; July 4, Blues Festival; July 5, Weird Al Yankovic, comedy; July 5, Zendaya, pop Disney; and July 7, Clay Walker, country.

In addition to livestock displays, commercial displays, homemade goods and fine arts, the fair will feature a full-scale carnival, horse racing plus three fireworks shows -- on Fridays June 21, June 28 and July 5.

Fair hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday; except for July 4 when the hours will be 10 a,m. to 9 p.m.

Advance tickets will be sold until June 18 -- $8 for adults, ages 13-61; $6 for seniors; $4 for kids ages 6-12. Under 6 enters for free. Tickets bought at the gate will be $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for kids. A season pass is available for $30.

Also, the fair will offer free admission to seniors on Thursday and to kids 12 and under on Fridays.
