DUBLIN -- More changes in Dublin city management were announced Monday, with Linda Smith being promoted to assistant city manager and Lori Taylor named the city's new economic development director.
Smith will earn $203,892 annually in her job overseeing Dublin community development, public works and economic development, as well as the city clerk's office. Smith, a Dublin employee since 2009, had been the city's economic development director.
Smith will replaced in her old job by Taylor, the former Alameda community development director and former Fremont economic development director. Dublin will pay Taylor a salary of $170,784 per year.
The changes were announced Monday by Dublin City Manager Chris Foss, who become city manager Saturday after working as interim city manager since December. Foss succeeded Joni Pattillo, who retired.
