SAN LEANDRO -- Flooding has forced crews to shut down the southbound off-ramp on Interstate 880 at the Davis Street exit. The exit is expected to reopen at 6:30 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol shut down the off-ramp about 3:30 p.m. to give Caltrans workers time to pump out the water.
The next southbound exit on I-880 is Marina Boulevard. Motorists can also get off at the exit before Davis, which is the 98th Avenue/Oakland International Airport off-ramp.
CHP said it is one of many flooded roadways around the Bay Area.
