Following the opening ceremony, there will be music and, at 3:45 p.m., the dedication of the 19th-century Eden Plain School, which volunteers have restored.

There also will be demonstrations of horsesmithing and wool-spinning as well as gold panning, raffle prizes and tours of the museum.

A tri-tip barbecue starts at 4 p.m., which also features locally grown corn, tomatoes, beans, rolls and dessert.
