RICHMOND -- Police on Thursday released surveillance pictures of two males considered persons of interest in a shooting outside a Target store in Richmond earlier this week.

Two people were injured in the Tuesday shooting, which happened just after 5:40 p.m. outside Target in the 4300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A 17-year-old victim was "coming along" after two surgeries at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, relatives said Thursday. A 23-year-old man was treated at Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo on Tuesday night and released.

The pictures, taken from surveillance video inside a nearby Wingstop Restaurant, shows a man with a red-hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored cap and another man with a dark-colored hoodie and a dark pullover hat.

Police said the video was taken before the shooting and that the two may have been driving or riding in a silver or gray Infiniti FX SUV.

Detectives said that the shooting was not a drive-by and that a disagreement may have occurred between the shooter and the victims, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said. The victims knew one another and were patrons of the store. Police did not say whether the victims knew the shooter.
