Marin sheriff's investigators have identified two suspects in a Kentfield burglary that set off a chase to Mill Valley last week.
Quinshawn Gowans, 19, of Vallejo and Larry Bradford Jr., 19, of Richmond allegedly fled police in a red Lexus June 1 after a residential burglary on South Ridgewood Road in the Kent Woodlands neighborhood.
The chase went down Highway 101 to Mill Valley, where the suspects' vehicle took the exit to the Redwood Highway Frontage Road. The Lexus nearly struck a deputy's patrol car before looping around to Strawberry and crashing in the gated De Silva Island neighborhood, the sheriff's department said.
The suspects escaped an extensive manhunt by sheriff's deputies, a helicopter crew, search dogs and officers from several agencies. Sheriff's investigators found property in the car they suspect was stolen from the Kent Woodlands home.
The sheriff's department released the names and photos of the suspects Thursday in an effort to generate leads on their whereabouts. Anyone with information can call Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477, a multilingual hot line where tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
Gowans was described as 5-foot-11 and 150 pounds. Bradford was described as 6-foot-5 and 170 pounds.
