SAN RAMON -- Two suspects were arrested Monday after a San Ramon man returned home to find burglars in his backyard, police said.

The interrupted burglary occurred at 8:46 a.m. on the 2600 block of Derby Drive, authorities said.

When the man arrived home, two suspects ran out from his backyard and escaped in a white Nissan Rogue with a license plate of 6YDJ348, according to police.

Two other suspects -- 19-year-old Marquis Parker and a 16-year-old boy -- were later arrested in the backyard of nearby home on Tumbleweed Court after hopping fences through the neighborhood, police said.

Officers said the victim's home was ransacked and several items were missing.

Parker, of San Francisco and the 16-year-old Bay Point boy were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy. Each had no bail warrants out for their arrest.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
