SAN RAMON -- U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell of District 15 will hold a town-hall meeting Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Terrace Room at the San Ramon Community Center, 12501 Alcosta Blvd.

He will address issues such as the political situation in Ukraine, the border crisis and ways of ensuring veterans receive the care and benefits they've earned, his staff said. He'll also take questions from the audience, in what will be his 15th town hall since being elected to Congress.

"My job is to listen to my constituents at home and work for them in Washington D.C., said Swalwell. "Town halls are great opportunities to hear constituents' views on the issues affecting them and their family, and also connect constituents with my office staff who can assist residents experiencing difficulties with federal agencies like the Social Security Administration or Department of Veterans Affairs."

The meeting is free and open to the public. Constituents are encouraged to RSVP at sanramontownhall.eventbrite.com.
