Friday, Aug. 22

  • 11:15 p.m. -- Howard Avenue. A loud party was shut down after noise complaints.

    SATURDAY, Aug. 23

  • 4:46 p.m. -- Oakland Avenue. A resident returned home to discover the house had been burglarized.

  • 7:56 p.m. -- La Salle Avenue. Someone spray painted the retaining wall on La Salle Avenue.

    SUNDAY, Aug. 24

  • 7:17 a.m. -- Linda Avenue. A vehicle search resulted in one person arrested for a drug-related offense.

    Monday, Aug. 25

  • 12:01 a.m. -- Park View Avenue. A caller reported that someone hit her vehicle in the past week.

  • 1:06 p.m. -- Crocker Avenue. Identity theft was reported.

    TUESDAY, Aug. 26

  • 10:10 a.m. -- Cambridge Way. One person was arrested and one person got away after a break-in where the homeowner was present.

  • 1:36 p.m. -- Park Way. A woman in a car initially pulled over having no plates was arrested for an outstanding warrant, a methamphetamine pipe, tools associated with stealing vehicles and possible identity theft.

  • 3:07 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. Two people in a car initially pulled over for having conflicting registration information were arrested after checkbooks for other people and suspected stolen electronic devices were found in the vehicle.

    WEDNESDAY, Aug. 27

  • 7:28 p.m. -- Woodland Way. Police spoke with an overly aggressive solicitor after several complaints were made about his behavior to residents.

    THURSDAY, Aug. 28

  • 6:11 p.m. -- Ranleigh Way. A resident called police after a heated exchange with a solicitor.
