OAKLAND — Although they've played in the Coliseum since 1968, in recent years the A's have used only the adjacent Coliseum Arena for their annual FanFest.

That changes next month when both the O.co Coliseum and the Oracle Arena will be joint venues for the 2014 FanFest on Feb. 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The A's, winners of the last two American League West Division titles, will put tickets for the FanFest on sale Thursday at $10 each, with admission free for kids ages 6 and under. The club expects the event will sell out even with the expanded capacity with two facilities being used.

``Using both venues will allow us to take advantage of the strengths of each,'' Jim Leahy, the club's vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement, ``and enable us to provide a great experience for more fans.''

Current and former A's players will be on hand for the event, which features free autograph sessions with third baseman Josh Donaldson and pitchers Sean Doolittle and Sonny Gray.

With the A's ready to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the club's 1974 World Series victory, A's players from both the 1974 and 1989 World Series winning teams are expected to be on hand for FanFest.
