Coach of the Year

HEATHER JOHNSTON, San Ramon Valley -- An influx of young talent arrived at San Ramon Valley, and the Wolves went unbeaten under Johnston despite their youth. In her five seasons as head coach, the Wolves have reached the NCS finals four times, winning three championships. She also coaches San Ramon Valley's boys and girls swim teams, and the girls are perennial NCS contenders.

FIRST TEAM

COURTNEY FAHEY, Monte Vista, Jr. -- Earned All-East Bay Athletic League first-team honors for the second straight year while leading the Mustangs to the North Coast Section Division I finals.

KIMBERLY JOHNSON, Las Lomas, Jr. -- Scored 88 and set a school record with 77 earned ejections for the NCS Division I semifinalists. She is a two-time Diablo Foothill Athletic League first-team pick.

ANNIKA JENSEN, Campolindo, Sr. -- The USC signee repeated as DFAL MVP while leading the Cougars to a second straight NCS Division II championship.

KAT KLASS, San Ramon Valley, Jr. -- A member of the national youth team, Klass was named EBAL MVP and amassed an amazing 151 goals for the Wolves as they completed an undefeated season.

LEXI LIEBOWITZ, San Ramon Valley, Fr. -- The lefty burst onto the scene for the unbeaten NCS Division I champions with 89 goals and 52 assists to earn All-EBAL first-team honors.

TAYLER PETERS, James Logan, Sr. -- The goalkeeper is a two-time Mission Valley Athletic League MVP. She led the Colts to a league title, 21-4 record and a NCS Division I quarterfinal appearance.

NATALIE SEIDEMANN, Campolindo, Sr. -- Bound for UC Irvine, the four-year starter helped the Cougars claim the DFAL and NCS Division II titles.
