MORGAN HILL -- Morgan Hill police on Monday released a photo of a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank on Saturday afternoon.

The robbery occurred at 1:45 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 17590 Monterey Road, according to Morgan Hill police Sgt. Troy Hoefling. Police say a man approached a teller and passed her a note demanding money from the cash drawer.

The demand note indicated the suspect had a gun, although none was seen.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank southbound on Monterey Road, according to police. The FBI was notified and responded to the bank to assist in the investigation.
