OAKLAND -- Two masked gunman stormed into an Eastlake restaurant Thursday night and robbed five people and the cash register, police said Friday.

No one was injured.

The takeover robbery happened at 9:09 p.m. at Chai Thai Noodles at 545 International Blvd. There were at least 15 employees and customers in the restaurant at the time.

The two suspects robbed four diners and an employee of cash, cell phones and jewelry and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, said Officers Nick Calonge and Omar Daza-Quiroz.

The suspects ran away north on 6th Avenue.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information on the case. Anyone with information can call police at 510-238-3326.
