It's been three months since someone bought a MEGA Millions ticket in Suisun City worth $173,830, but still, no one has come forward to claim the prize.
The ticket was for the Lottery draw held on Sept. 28 and it was sold at Super Serv Chevron, 4490 Central Way in Suisun City. The ticket successfully matched the numbers 6, 8, 14, 43 and 56, missing only the Mega number of 28.
Twice, state Lottery officials have issued news releases about the ticket, but to no avail.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. If unclaimed, this ticket will expire at close of business on March 27 and the unclaimed funds will be transferred to California schools.
