Stanford junior cornerback Terrence Brown announced Tuesday that he will enter the NFL draft.

Brown was an honorable mention All-Pac-12 performer who started every game and had one interception. Although not the Cardinal's most talented cornerback, he was the steadiest.

"My admission to Stanford University in 2009 was a life-changing event,'' Brown said in a statement released by the school. "The past four years have been a great experience ... and I feel well prepared to move on to the next level."

Brown and senior linebacker Chase Thomas are the only defensive starters from the Rose Bowl who aren't expected to return next season.

Last week, linebackers Shayne Skov and Trent Murphy and end Ben Gardner announced they would pass on the NFL draft.
