Two-alarm fire gutted a Mountain View mobile home early Sunday.

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Firefighters put out a blaze in a flaming mobile home early Sunday before it could spread to other nearby units, authorities said.

When fire crews arrived after the roughly 4:55 a.m. report of flames at the Sahara Mobile Village community on the 191 East El Camino Real, they found a mobile home spewing fire. The only occupant had already gotten out of the home and was unhurt, said Mountain View Fire Department spokeswoman Jaime Garrett.

Crews quickly put out the flames of the two-alarm fire, preventing their spread to neighboring homes. No damage estimate was released.

The fire is still under investigation, but at this point there is nothing suspicious about it, Garrett said.
