FREMONT -- Diners at a Fremont Denny's may have lost their "Moons Over My Hammy" appetite Monday night when robbers held a man at gunpoint in the parking lot, then fled.

Officers were called at 6:45 p.m. to the restaurant in the 5200 block of Mowry Avenue for a report of an armed robbery, said police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

Police said the male victim tried to sell a pair of shoes using Craigslist and when the alleged buyer met him in the parking lot, he was robbed at gunpoint by three people¿.

During the incident, the three ¿arrived at the Denny's in a silver truck, Bosques said.

The juvenile got out of the truck and the victim handed him the shoes as the driver of the truck pointed a silver semi-automatic pistol at him, Bosques said. The three drove off.

A short time later Union City Police Department officers pulled over Darren Gonzales, 20; Alejandro Sanchez, 19; and an unnamed juvenile at Decoto and Alvarado Niles roads.

Officers said they found the gun that had been used during the robbery during the stop. Bosques said it was reported stolen out of Brentwood.

All three suspects were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and possession of stolen property, police said.
