FRIDAY, JAN. 4

  • ASSAULT -- A man faces possible felony assault and battery charges after his arrest in the 1800 block of Shattuck Avenue. The suspect had reportedly entered a business around 12:26 p.m. in the 2100 block of Oxford Street. He had repeatedly been asked to leave the premises on prior occasions due to his disruptive behavior. In this case, he approached a female employee, suddenly grabbed her, struck her and pushed her before making his exit.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 900 block of Heinz Avenue, the 800 block of Keeler Avenue and the 2400 block of Virginia Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2900 block of Benvenue Avenue, the 2300 block of California Street and the 1300 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Dana and Webster streets; the 1800 block of Delaware Street; the 2900 block of Dwight Way; the 2000 block of Lincoln Street; the 2500 block of Piedmont Avenue; the 800 block of San Diego Road; and the 200 block of Spinnaker Way.

    SATURDAY, JAN. 5

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Eucalyptus and Hillcrest roads, the 1000 block of Keith Avenue and the 1600 block of Ninth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen in the 2900 block of College Avenue and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 100 block of Fairlawn Drive, the 1200 block of Monterey Avenue and the 2400 block of Warring Street.

    SUNDAY, JAN. 6

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 1200 block of Milvia Street and the 2000 block of Vine Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2300 block of Channing Way, the 2300 block of Fourth Street and the 1900 block of Sixth Street.

    MONDAY, JAN. 7

  • ARSON -- At 9:15 p.m., local police and fire responded to a report of a fire in the 2300 block of Bancroft Way. Someone is suspected to have set fire to a swatch of fabric on a chain-link fence, which spread to two portapotties.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 2500 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 1800 block of Fairview Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 900 block of Creston Road, the 900 block of Shattuck Square and the 2500 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1400 block of Addison Street; the 600 and 1300 blocks of Grizzly Peak Boulevard; the 3200 block of Pierce Street; and the 1800 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    TUESDAY, JAN. 8

  • ASSAULT -- At 6:45 p.m., police arrested a man after he reportedly struck a victim in the face with a rock at Ohlone Park. The assault occurred during an altercation between the suspect and victim at a basketball game. The victim declined medical attention.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1200 block of 65th Street.

  • THEFT -- Less than $950 worth of items were stolen in the 700 block of Hilldale Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Dwight Way and Hillside Avenue; the 2500 block of San Pablo Avenue; and two in the 1800 block of Scenic Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 3000 block of Shattuck Avenue and the 1800 block of West Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2900 block of College Avenue, the 2000 block of Oregon Street and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Regent Street.

    THURSDAY, JAN. 10

  • ROBBERY -- At 8:50 p.m., a man brandished a gun at a male pedestrian near King and Tyler streets and demanded his cell phone. The victim complied and the suspect fled.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 2100 block of California Street.

  • THEFT -- The theft of less than $950 worth of items was reported in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was stolen from a vehicle at Shattuck Avenue and Virginia Street.
