SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers on Wednesday conducted their first practice since they captured the NFC Championship with a 28-24 victory Sunday over the Atlanta Falcons.
Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks and backup tight end Garrett Celek were the only players not participating at the start of the scaled-back practice.
Linebacker Aldon Smith (shoulder) and fullback Bruce Miller (shoulder) are practicing in their regular jerseys after spending the past month or so in black, non-contact jerseys.
It's conceivable that Smith and Miller aren't wearing the black jerseys because of the way practice was set up. However, cornerback Tarell Brown and backup defensive tackle Will Tukuafu still are donning black jerseys, as they have for the past month or so.
Defensive lineman Justin Smith (triceps) and left offensive tackle Joe Staley (arm) are practicing at full strength and still showing no sign of lingering effects from injuries.
