FRIDAY, JAN. 11

  • ROBBERY -- At 11:10 a.m., a man and a woman came up behind a female pedestrian, shoved her and grabbed her cell phone before getting away in a waiting sedan.

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 5:26 p.m., a woman was sitting in her car near 10th Street and University Avenue when a man approached her, slightly opened the door and demanded her purse. The victim pushed open her door, striking him in the face. The suspect ran to a waiting sedan and drove off.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1000 block of Creston Road; the 1100 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard; the 2200 block of Marin Avenue; the 1000 block of Sterling Avenue; and the 2400 block of 10th Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 1900 block of Allston Way; the 3000 block of Ashby Avenue; the 2100 block of Berkeley Way; two in the 1300 block of Eighth Street; the 2000 block of Sixth Street; the 1500 block of Solano Avenue; and the 1400 block of University Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth in property was stolen from a location in the 2500 block of Bancroft Way.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and the 1700 block of Rose Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Bancroft Way and two in the 2100 block of Fourth Street.

    SATURDAY, JAN. 12

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 2000 block of Center Street and the 2200 block of Eighth Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items was stolen from a location in the 1800 block of Solano Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Eighth and Gilman streets; the 2300 block of Fourth Street; the 900 block of Gilman Street; the 1800 block of Monterey Avenue; and the 1100 block of Russell Street.

    SUNDAY, JAN. 13

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 5:50 p.m., a man getting cash from an ATM in the 2500 block of San Pablo Avenue, turned around and found a man standing behind him who demanded his money and simulated a gun in his possession. The victim punched the suspect when he started moving toward him and the would-be robber fled.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1800 block of Fourth Street and the 2800 block of Russell Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2300 block of Channing Way, the 1900 block of San Pablo Avenue and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1500 block of Blake Street and the 1000 block of Delaware Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2000 block of Fourth Street and the 1800 block of Sonoma Avenue.

    MONDAY, JAN. 14

  • ROBBERY -- At 11:08 p.m., a male teen engaged a woman in conversation while she was pumping gas in the 800 block of University Avenue. He then tried to take her wallet and told her that he had a gun. The victim complied and the suspect fled with three others to a waiting vehicle and drove off.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 600 block of Colusa Avenue; the 1400 block of Le Roy Avenue; the 1700 block of Oxford Street; and the 1500 block of Tyler Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 2000 block of Oregon Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen from Fifth Street and Hearst Avenue.

  • GRANT THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items were stolen from a location in the 2200 block of Hearst Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2500 block of Benvenue Avenue; the 2600 block of Telegraph Avenue; and the 200 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Bancroft Way and Ellsworth Street; at Dwight Way and Sports Lane; in the 1600 block of Eighth Street; at Hearst and Le Conte avenues; at Hearst and Scenic avenues; the 3200 block of Idaho Street; the 2400 block of Prospect Street; and the 1700 block of Spruce Street.

    TUESDAY, JAN. 15

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1800 block of Blake Street and the 600 block of Neilson Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Bay and Potter streets, the 1500 block of Juanita Way and the 600 block of San Fernando Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Center Street, the 2100 block of Shattuck Avenue and the 2300 block of Woolsey Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles at Euclid and Le Conte avenues and the 2400 block of Grant Street.

    WEDNESDAY, JAN. 16

  • ROBBERY -- At 10 a.m., a man approached a female pedestrian near Bancroft Way and McGee Street and tried to steal her cell phone. A struggle ensued and he got away with only the ear buds.

  • ROBBERY -- At 9:34 p.m. three men approached two men at a bus stop at San Pablo and University avenues. One of the suspects brandished a gun and the trio stole the victims' wallets and cell phones.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1700 block of Dwight Way, the 3000 block of San Pablo Avenue and the 100 block of Tunnel Road.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 700 block of Allston Way, at Fourth Street and Hearst Avenue and the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    THURSDAY, JAN. 17

  • ROBBERY -- At 6 p.m., two male juveniles pushed a male pedestrian to the ground and stole his wallet and cell phone at Virginia and Sacramento streets before fleeing the area.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of Cedar Street.
