OAKLAND -- An innocent bystander who drove into a gunfight was one of four people wounded Saturday in separate outbreaks of gun violence, police said.

Some people were shooting at each other around 1:55 p.m. on the 9800 block of International Boulevard when one of their bullets struck a person in a car.

The victim was in stable condition and officers detained two suspects in connection with the shooting, said Oakland police.

Three other people were in stable condition after being shot around 10:40 p.m. Saturday on the 9600 block of Birch Street. Police didn't report any arrests or a reason for the violence.
