ANTIOCH -- Police are investigating an early-morning drive-by shooting on 15th Street.

No one was injured in the incident, reported about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police were still investigating and had few immediate details, but Antioch police Lt. Diane Aguinaga said a person was driving in the neighborhood when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire.

The person driving in a car was not injured, but the car was hit several times, Aguinaga said.

A neighbor said 11 bullet casing shells were found at the scene, but Aguinaga could not confirm that. It's unclear how many bullets hit the car, or from what kind of vehicle the shots were fired.

Anyone with information is asked to call Antioch police at 925-779-6927.
