Police arrested two teenage boys in connection with two separate strong-arm robberies that occurred Feb. 15.

The first robbery took place about 4:48 p.m. in the 1300 block of Park Street, where police said the boy punched a man in the face and stole his iPad.

The victim suffered a bruise on his face, but refused medical attention.

Patrol officers spotted and detained the boy with two other juveniles a short time later. Along with arresting him, police recovered the iPad.

Later that day, a female juvenile told police that a boy followed her off a bus in the area of the 1400 block of Bay Street, where he made lewd comments at her and touched her in a sexual manner before stealing her backpack and running off.

Officers searched the neighborhood found the boy hiding in the rear of an apartment building, police said. The girl positively identified him and he was booked at juvenile hall.

The names of the boys were not disclosed because they are minors.

TUESDAY, FEB. 12

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 8:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Mozart Street. Police also said a vehicle reported stolen in Oakland was recovered about 12:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Barbers Point Road.

  • PETTY THEFT -- Police arrested a woman, 52, on suspicion of petty theft about 1:50 p.m. after security at Kohl's at Alameda South Shore Center accused her of shoplifting merchandise.

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- Police arrested a 34-year-old man at 11:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue after he allegedly attempted to steal a bicycle.

    WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Police arrested a man and woman, who are both 28, on suspicion of possessing cocaine following a traffic stop about 3:10 a.m. in the 2700 block of Fernside Boulevard. The woman was also accused of possessing less than one ounce of marijuana.

  • BURGLARY -- A burglary was reported about 1:40 p.m. in the 400 block of Tucker Avenue.

    THURSDAY, FEB. 14

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- A vehicle reported stolen in San Mateo was recovered about 7:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of Paru Street. Police also said a vehicle was reported stolen about 2:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of St. Charles Street.

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- Identity theft was reported about 2:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of Adams Street.

  • NARCOTICS PARAPHERNALIA -- Police arrested a woman, 27, following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Clement Avenue, where a glass narcotics pipe was allegedly found in her vehicle's center console. The woman, who was arrested about 9:30 p.m., was also driving with a suspended license, police said.

    FRIDAY, FEB. 15

  • BURGLARY -- A burglary was reported about 12:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Regent Street. The thief got inside via a bathroom window, police said.

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- A vehicle reported stolen in Berkeley was recovered about 2:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of Thau Way.

    SATURDAY, FEB. 16

  • NARCOTICS PARAPHERNALIA -- Police arrested a 56-year-old man on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Corpus Chritsi Road. The man, who was arrested about 7:30 a.m., was also carrying less than one ounce of marijuana and was wanted on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

    SUNDAY, FEB. 17

  • DRUNKEN DRIVING -- Police arrested a man, 23, on suspicion of drunken driving following a traffic stop at 2:05 a.m. in the 2200 block of Central Avenue. The man was also wanted on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and was an unlicensed driver, police said. His passenger, also 23, was arrested for public intoxication, police said. Two women were also arrested on suspicion of drunken driving during traffic stops about 30 minutes later in the 400 block of Park Street and at Park Street and Eagle Avenue.

  • COUNTERFEIT BILLS -- Police arrested a man, 46, on suspicion of possessing counterfeit currency at 7:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Loop Road. The man was also wanted on an outstanding felony warrant.

    MONDAY, FEB. 18

  • BURGLARY -- Copper wire was stolen during the burglary of a building in the 2400 block of Lexington Street. It was reported at 6:35 a.m.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 9:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Park Street.

    TUESDAY, FEB. 19

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- A vehicle reported stolen in San Francisco was recovered shortly before 1 a.m. at Clement Avenue and Walnut Street. Police also recovered a vehicle reported stolen in Oakland about 2:30 a.m. in the 1700 bloc of Sherman Street.

  • BURGLARY -- A burglary of a garage in the 1000 block of Jost Lane was reported about 2:15 p.m. Police arrested a man, 45, on suspicion of burglary about 5:50 p.m. after he allegedly stole merchandise from the Lucky store on Marina Village Parkway. The man concealed the items in bags he carried into the store, police said.
