Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover seeks residents of his District 5 to serve on several countywide advisory panels.

The following panels have openings resulting from the expiration of terms and resignations:

  • Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board

  • Assessment Appeals Board

  • Contra Costa County Merit Board

  • Fish and Wildlife Committee

    The panel members will be appointed by the county Board of Supervisors based on the recommendation of Glover. Interested individuals should contact Glover's office at 925-335-8200 for more information or to obtain an application form. Completed applications must be received in Glover's office by the close of business March 8.

    The Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 3:45 to 6:15 p.m. in Martinez. For additional information, call Fatima Matal Sol at 925-335-3307.

    District 5 includes northern Antioch, Hercules, Martinez, northern Pinole, Pittsburg and the unincorporated areas of Alhambra Valley, Bay Point, Briones, Clyde, Crockett, Mountain View, Pacheco, Port Costa, Reliez Valley, Rodeo, Tormey and Vine Hill.
