BRENTWOOD -- All lanes of Vasco Road have reopened following a multi-vehicle crash earlier this evening, the California Highway Patrol said late Tuesday.

The collision, which was reported at 8:35 p.m., involved at least three cars and forced the closure of Vasco Road in both directions for more than 90 minutes. It reopened around 10:10 p.m., the CHP said.

The number of injured was not immediately known, though CHP shut down Vasco Road at Camino Diablo while emergency crews worked to clear the road.

Those hurt in the incident suffered "moderate injuries," the CHP said.

Brentwood police also assisted emergency crews at the scene.

The cause of the collision was not immediately available.
