MARTINEZ -- Police are asking the public's help in looking for a missing teenager who disappeared during the night from his home.

Ryan Menjivar, 18, was last seen Monday around 11:30 p.m. at his home in Martinez, police said.

He left his residence sometime during the night and has not returned home or contacted his family. Menjivar is considered to be at-risk, police added, though they did not say why.

The Alhambra High School senior was reported missing to the Martinez Police Department on Tuesday morning and has since been entered into the state's missing person database.

He is 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing dark jeans, a black shirt and light green hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Menjivar is asked to contact the Martinez Police Department at 925-372-3440.
