ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 6:50 p.m., a man tried to grab a bicycle a woman was riding near Channing Way and Roosevelt Street. The man then grabbed a lock as the victim tried to ride off and threw it at her, but missed his target. The man fled in a waiting older model vehicle. THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 2700 block of Haste Street. STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 2300 block of College Avenue. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 400 block of Bret Harte Road and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1200 block of Curtis Street and the 1300 block of Rose Street.SATURDAY, FEB. 16
THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1200 block of Hopkins Street. STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen near Indian Rock and Shattuck avenues. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were taken from a location in the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was stolen items from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Beverly Place.SUNDAY, FEB. 17
ROBBERY -- At 2:30 a.m., a group of five men accosted two male pedestrians, stealing a cell phone and wallets near Bancroft Way and Ellsworth Street. STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 2100 block of San Pablo Avenue. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen in the 1800 block of San Pablo Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Addison and Milvia streets, at Francisco and Grant streets and the 1300 block of Spruce Street.MONDAY, FEB. 18
ROBBERY -- At 3:15 a.m., a woman came onto a porch in the 2600 block of Piedmont Avenue where a woman was sitting and snatched her purse after a brief struggle. ROBBERY -- At 10:42 p.m., three men accosted a male pedestrian near Dwight Way and Hillegass Street. One tripped the victim, causing him to fall. One then punched the victim while another stole his cell phone and wallet. THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1600 block of Sixth Street. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Channing Way and Ellsworth Street, the 1500 block of Hearst Avenue and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2300 block of Blake Street; the 2400 block of Durant Avenue; at Fifth and Harrison streets; and the 400 block of Gilman Street.TUESDAY, FEB. 19
BRANDISHING -- Someone reportedly brandished a weapon at around 1 p.m. in the 2000 block of University Avenue. STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 2100 block of Berkeley Way and the 200 block of University Avenue. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2300 block of Bancroft Way; the 2500 block of Durant Avenue; and two places in the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Fifth and Gilman streets and the 1400 block of Walnut Street.WEDNESDAY, FEB. 20
THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 2100 block of Virginia Street. COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1200 block of Milvia Street. GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items were swiped from a location in the 2600 block of Bancroft Way. THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2100 block of Kittredge Street; the 300 block of Orchard Lane; the 1100 block of Oxford Street; and the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was stolen from a vehicle in the 2400 block of McKinley Avenue.THURSDAY, FEB. 21
THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 1700 block of Euclid Avenue; the 2100 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way; the 2100 block of Oxford Street; and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue. THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Berkeley Way and Shattuck Avenue and the 800 block of Bolivar Drive.-- Jennifer Shaw
