OAKLAND -- A man and woman shot to death Saturday morning in East Oakland were identified by police Wednesday.

The man was 28-year-old Noe Garcia, a construction worker who lived in Oakland.

The woman was 34-year-old Trisha Forde of Union City.

They were found just after 4 a.m. near Apricot and Blenheim streets, dead from gunshot wounds.

Police said they were killed at the scene a few minutes before they were found by officers after calls from residents.

Investigators have not yet established the relationship between the two, what they were doing in the area and a motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made yet.
