Westfield San Francisco Center is piling new retailers into the downtown shopping center this spring, building out its store directory with luxury and tech brand names.
The most highly anticipated store opening comes April 25, when Microsoft opens its fifth Bay Area store at Westfield with much fanfare, including a grand opening ceremony and a live country music concert on April 27. On a more subdued note, the mall announced it will also open stationery and greeting card store Amy's Hallmark in May.
Travel and luggage retailer Samsonite opened a 2,000-square-foot store last month, around the same time that ceramics studio Color Me Mine also opened its doors at the shopping center. Also, women's clothing and jewelry retailer Celestine SF opened a pop-up store, which will stay up until May 8, on the mall's fourth level.
These recent openings follow a string of high-end retailer additions at the mall over the past few months, which include Bloomingdale's, Gucci and Tiffany & Co. Westfield San Francisco Center is on Market Street between Fourth and Fifth streets.
