FRIDAY, APRIL 5

  • ROBBERY -- At 2:24 p.m., a man tried to grab a phone from a woman near Parker Street and Piedmont Avenue. The victim screamed and the assailant threatened her and claimed to have a weapon. Two witnesses then chased him and the suspect was later arrested.

  • ROBBERY -- At 7 p.m., a man in his late teens to early 20s snatched the phone of a manstanding in the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of University Avenue. The assailant started to run and was chased by the victim. A struggle ensued and three male accomplices got out of a black Honda and came to the assailant's aid. One reached at his waistband, appearing to have a weapon. The foursome escaped with the phone.

  • ROBBERY -- At 9:35 p.m., an armed man demanded employees of a business in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue give him all the money in the safe. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1700 block of Blake Street; the 100 block of Brookside Drive; the 2300 block of Dwight Way; the 2000 block of Los Angeles Avenue; and the 2400 block of Warring Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 2000 block of Durant Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1300 block of Curtis Street; the 1800 block of Delaware Street; the 1500 block of Posen Avenue; and the 2200 block of Russell Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items were stolen from a location in the 2800 block of Garber Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2000 block of Center Street, the 700 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard and the 1700 block of Parker Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1600 block of Bancroft Way; the 2000 block of Berryman Street; the 1800 block of Bonita Avenue; the 2900 block of College Avenue; two in the 2000 block of Fourth Street; the 1600 block of Grant Street; the 700 block of Hearst Avenue; the 2300 block of Jefferson Avenue; the 2500 block of Milvia Street; and the 2000 block of Virginia Street.

    SATURDAY, APRIL 6

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1400 block of Grant Street and the 2300 block of Parker Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 1200 block of University Avenue and the 1500 block of Walnut Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen near Addison and Jefferson streets.

  • GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items were from a location in the 2100 block of Eunice Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2000 block of Oregon Street, the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue and the 1300 block of 10th Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2100 block of Eunice Street, at Harrison and Sixth streets and at Hearst Avenue and Seventh Street.

    SUNDAY, APRIL 7

  • ROBBERY -- At 8:40 p.m., a man ran up to a woman in the 1800 block of Russell Street and grabbed her purse, fleeing following a brief struggle.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized a home in the 2500 block of Regent Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue was burglarized.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1200 block of Cedar Street and at Dana and Haste streets.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2900 block of College Avenue, the 700 block of San Diego Road and the 900 block of Shattuck Square.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2200 block of Haste Street, at Hilgard and Scenic avenues and at Shattuck Avenue and Virginia Street.

    MONDAY, APRIL 8

  • CARJACKING -- At 6:20 p.m., a man in the 1700 block of Harmon Street and noticed a stranger standing next to his '91 Toyota pickup. The suspect gestured that he had a weapon and threatened the victim, who ran inside a building. The victim subsequently noticed his truck was missing. The vehicle was later recovered following a hit-and-run incident.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1400 block of San Pablo Avenue and the 1900 block of Vine Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Bancroft Way and Shattuck Avenue and at Channing Way and Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 1700 block of Hearst Avenue; the 1400 block of Henry Street; the 2000 block of Oregon Street; the 2000 and 2400 blocks of Shattuck Avenue; and the 1200 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2900 block of College Avenue; the 1800 block of Highland Place; the 2000 block of Oregon Street; the 1300 block of Seventh Street; the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue; and the 1300 block of Spruce Street.

    TUESDAY, APRIL 9

  • ROBBERY -- At 2:05 p.m., a man who was seen stealing food from a store in the 1800 block of University Avenue shoved a loss prevention officer who confronted him. The employee detained the suspect and responding police arrested him.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 800 block of Arlington Avenue; the 1000 block of Cragmont Avenue; the 800 block of Indian Rock Avenue; and the 500 block of Tunnel Road.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1900 block of Fifth Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen at Bancroft Way and Piedmont Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen in the 1700 block of Berkeley Way.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Berkeley Way and Oxford Street; the 1000 block of Cedar Street; the 2900 block of Derby Street; at Dwight Way and Warring Street; the 3000 block of Halcyon Court; and the 2400 block of Hearst Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10

  • ROBBERY -- At 1:20 a.m., a man stole a female pedestrian's bag and fled in the 2100 block of Seventh Street.

  • SHOTS FIRED -- At 3:49 p.m., someone reported hearing shots fired near California and Harmon streets. The shots caused damage to a vehicle and some homes.

  • ROBBERY -- At 7 p.m., a man confronted another man exiting a store in the 3400 block of Adeline Street, physically assaulting him and stealing his cell phone and cash.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1500 block of Stannage Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from a location in the 1900 block of Fifth Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1300 block of Carrison Street and the 1700 block of Scenic Avenue.

    THURSDAY, APRIL 11

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 2300 block of Prince Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Dwight Way and Ellsworth Street and the 100 block of Seawall Drive.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen at Grant Street and Hearst Avenue; the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue; the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue; and the 3000 block of Hearst Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was taken from a vehicle in the 700 block of Dwight Way.
