HAYWARD -- Armed men in ski masks stormed a Jack in the Box restaurant last week, corralled employees in the kitchen and got away with a handful of cash, police said.
No one was injured during the stickup that took place just before midnight May 1 at the Mission Boulevard business, said Sgt. Eric Krimm.
Officers were called to the restaurant at the Fairway Shops at 12:01 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
Witnesses told police two suspects wearing ski masks and black-hooded sweatshirts entered the business and ordered the employees there into the kitchen.
The suspects, both armed with a small semi-automatic handgun, then took cash from the registers and fled, police said.
