SAN LEANDRO -- Calling all adult board gamers! The San Leandro Main Library is hosting a board game night Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 300 Estudillo Avenue.

Attendees are invited to bring their own games or play games provided, including Settlers of Cattan, Dominion, ScrabbleApple, Munchkin and Ticket to Ride.

Snacks will also be provided.

The event is part of the library's new Millennial Academy funded by a $15,000 state library grant aimed at adults ages 18 to 33, but all adults are welcome.

The Academy kicked off its series of events in April with a career development workshops. Events to come include a film series, lessons in 3D printing, a beard and mustache competition and a lesson in homebrewing alcohol for those 21 and older.
