For the second time in as many days, police arrested a Vacaville teacher Thursday -- this time after authorities allegedly found drugs and a loaded gun in his vehicle, which was parked at a local middle school.

Willis Jepson Middle School teacher Bobby Chambers, 53, of Chico, was taken into custody at 10:09 a.m. on the school's grounds, 580 Elder St., after "a credible source," later identified as his former girlfriend, called the school and said he had a loaded weapon and marijuana in his vehicle and had "used illegal drugs while on campus," according to the Vacaville Police Department and a statement from the school district.

Chambers was contacted and interviewed and consented to a search of his vehicle, during which officers found a loaded handgun, ammunition, cocaine and less than an ounce of marijuana, the press releases stated.
