OAKLAND -- Two adults were displaced Tuesday night after firefighters battled a structure fire on 95th Avenue in East Oakland.

No one was injured.

It was unclear what caused the fire, which broke out about 8:30 p.m., but fire officials said it appears to be accidental.

Damage was contained to one section of the house, mainly a room, fire officials added.

Two residents were displaced and fire crews called for the American Red Cross to assist them with temporary housing.
