FREMONT -- One man was stabbed and another was injured during a brawl inside a home Monday night, police said.

Officers were called at 8:45 p.m. to a home in the 43000 block of Osgood Road for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

Officers found that two men in their late 40s got into a fight, Bosques said. The men were uncooperative with officers in their investigation, she added, and police have not determined what caused the fight.

One of the men suffered significant but non-life threatening stab wounds and was transported to a local trauma center, Bosques said. The other man suffered significant shoulder and neck injuries more consistent with a blunt object, she said. Both men were taken to a hospital.
