  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2000 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Dwight Way and Sacramento Street and the 1500 block of Stannage Avenue.

    SATURDAY, MAY 11

  • ROBBERY -- At around 8 p.m., three male teens approached a female pedestrian near Derby and Etna streets. One of them grabbed her from behind while another stole her iPod. The threesome then ran off.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2100 block of Emerson Street.

  • THEFT -- Item(s) worth less than $950 were stolen from the following locations: the 1600 block of Capistrano Avenue; the 2500 block of College Avenue; the 1800 block of Seventh Street; and the 2300 block of Stuart Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Item(s) were stolen from parked vehicles in the 800 block of Page Street and the 500 block of Vicente Avenue.

    SUNDAY, MAY 12

  • ASSAULT -- Police arrested a man who faces felony battery charges after he reportedly punched a man, knocking him to the ground in front of business in the 3000 block of Adeline Street. The assault occurred following an escalating verbal argument between the suspect and the victim.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Item(s) were stolen from parked vehicles at Dwight Way and Sports Lane, the 3100 block of Harper Street and the 2300 block of Warring Street.

    MONDAY, MAY 13

  • ROBBERY -- At around 6:16 p.m., a man came up to a woman while brandishing a gun in the 3000 block of Colby Street. He demanded her personal belongings. She relinquished her cell phone and purse, before he fled the scene.

  • ROBBERY -- At around 10:41 p.m., a man came up behind a female pedestrian in the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue and grabbed her cell phone. He fled with the phone after a brief struggle.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1900 block of Channing Way, the 2500 block of Piedmont Avenue and the 2500 block of Warring Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle that was parked in the 2500 block of Parker Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of item(s) from a location in the 2800 block of California Street.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of item(s) from a location in the 1900 block of Yosemite Road.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Item(s) were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: the 5200 block of Bolivar Drive; the 700 block of Ensenada Avenue; the 100 block of Eucalyptus Road; the 2900 block of Florence Avenue; the 2700 block of Forest Avenue; the 700 and 1000 blocks of Gilman Street; and the 3000 block of Telegraph Avenue.

    TUESDAY, MAY 14

  • ROBBERY -- At around 12:25 a.m., three men with guns approached a woman in front of a business near Prince Street and Shattuck Avenue and demanded her property. They got away with her cell phone, purse and wallet.

  • ROBBERY -- At around 9:25 a.m., three juvenile males, who were later taken into custody, cornered a man in the 1900 block of Allston Way, preventing him from escaping. One of them stole the victim's watch and backpack. The victim was finally able to free himself and run away.

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At around 2 p.m., a man brandishing a knife approached a woman who was standing near her vehicle at Fifth Street and Hearst Avenue and unsuccessfully tried to steal her belongings. The victim screamed for help and the suspect fled in an awaiting vehicle.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1700 block of Carleton Street, the 1700 block of Franklin Street and the 3000 block of Wheeler Street.

  • THEFT -- Item(s) worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1500 block of Josephine Street, the 2400 block of Le Conte Avenue and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At around 2:49 p.m., a man tried to steal a female pedestrian's cell phone and purse near Fulton and Prince streets. A struggle ensued, causing the victim to fall to the ground. She screamed and kicked at the suspect who fled the scene.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1700 block of Carleton Street and the 1500 block of Le Roy Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Prince Street and Shattuck Avenue and the 2400 block of Prospect Street.

  • THEFT -- Item(s) worth less than $950 were stolen from the following locations: the 1900 block of Alcatraz Avenue; the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue; at Sixth Street and University Avenue; and the 200 and 2000 blocks of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Item(s) were stolen from parked vehicles at Addison Street and San Pablo Avenue, the 2800 block of Forest Avenue and the 300 block of Parkside Drive.

    THURSDAY, MAY 16

  • ARSON -- At around 4:40 a.m., someone lit soda cans on fire and put them underneath a victim's vehicle at 10th Street and University Avenue.

  • ASSAULT -- A male pedestrian reported that an unknown man bumped into him at Channing Way and Warring Street and then ran off. He then noticed that an unknown object had cut his hand.

  • ROBBERIES -- Robberies were reported at 1:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Alcatraz Avenue and at 9 p.m. at Ashby Avenue and Mabel Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1700 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle that was parked in the 1400 block of Stannage Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of item(s) from a location in the 1900 block of Essex Street.

  • THEFT -- Item(s) worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1900 block of Hopkins Street, the 1800 block of Stuart Street and the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue.
