OAKLAND -- A 17-year-old boy fatally shot Sunday afternoon in East Oakland was identified by police Monday as David Manson Jr.

Two other people wounded in the shooting are recovering.

Manson, who lived in Oakland, was shot multiple times about 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the 9100 block of International Boulevard by a gunman who fled on foot. Manson died at the scene.

Another 17-year-old boy who was a friend of Manson's was wounded in the leg in the shooting, police said. A 60-year-old woman driving by was also wounded in the leg by an stray bullet.

Police said they don't have a motive yet for the shooting and no arrests have been made.

Attempts to locate relatives of Manson were not immediately successful. Officials said he had attended Oakland High School in 2011.
