A San Lorenzo woman with Alzheimer's disease has gone missing, and the Alameda County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find her.
Teofila Loida Herrera, 76, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Monday at her home located at 16129 Via Pinale in San Lorenzo, according to Sheriff's Office spokesman J.D. Nelson. Herrera is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. It was not known what she was wearing when she went missing, Nelson said.
Herrera is believed to be driving a white, 2003 four-door Toyota Camry with a California license plate of 5AUA431.
She has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and is on multiple medications. She has gone missing in the past, Nelson said, and is at risk because of her age and medical issues.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 510-268-7931 or 925-551-6858.
